2024-2025: Week 13 Player Reports

Game 1: Team Purple vs. Team White

-White is clearly not one of those teams who can win without their entire roster intact. Rob was a late scratch in this one and Purple made him pay with some excellent defensive grit. They didn’t give White anything easy all night and were able to put them away down the stretch. Bad loss for White, let’s see if they live to regret it.

Game 2: Team Orange vs. Team Blue

-I think we expected a bit more fight about of Blue in this one, but they are one of those teams that needs a lot to go right. They need to win the matchups on both sides of the ball and they need to win the possession game. Often, they do win a lot of that. But their helter-skelter approach to offense leaves them with limited options when things aren’t going their way. Should they jam the ball inside with Carli? Have Rodney and Bob Kelly chuck a few more deep ones? None of it seems organized, whereas Orange makes things very simple for their players. Richie is a superstar role player. He can excel in certain ways, but if you tried to have him handle the ball too much, you’d be in trouble. Carter is a dangerous, shifty shooter and driver, but he doesn’t have much force in his game, so if you’re asking him to create angles and gaps, that might not be his strength. Chris does a little of everything and draws lots of attention, which makes it hard to stop everyone all the time. Orange starting to round into form.

Game 3: - Team Red vs. Team Green

-Another winnable game for Team Green falls to ash. Kennedy caught fire and kept them close, but they continue to surrender too many points to teams. Colin had his way all night while the entire roster for Red got in the scorebook. Even Steve. We’re just about at the point where Green is mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Any day now.
