2023-2024: Week 11 Player Reports
Game 1: Team Silver
vs. Team Gold
-In the precious metals matchup, Silver relied on their size and physicality to hold the potent offense of Team Gold to just 57 points. Richie got loose for a season-high 32 points and Silver extended their win streak to 9 games. Something no one saw coming. Keep in mind, 2.5 games into the season, Silver was on their way to an 0-3 record and a lot of tear-soaked pillows for the Soczek brothers. Since then, they erased a 24-point deficit and won every game since. Truly shocking. Gold continues to float around the bottom of the league. They have a crucial game against Team Green in Week 12 to solidify their playoff chances.
Game 2: Team Green
vs. Team Orange
-Aderman went nuclear in this one, but he did it mostly alone as Orange proved to be too much for the tiny Green team. Their size disadvantage has plagued them all season and was fatal in this one. They’ve teased us with good showings for long stretches in games, but everything seems to go against them down the stretch and they’ve only mustered 3 wins on the season. Orange stays near the top, looking stronger than ever, and Green is in a do or die position for the remainder of the season.
Game 3: - Team Blue
vs. Team Pink
-Despite their inconsistent play, Blue has shown flashes of intensity that allow them to compete with the better teams in the league. They still appear to have the roster construction to match up with almost anyone. It was clear this would be a dogfight, which is nothing new for Pink, and the game was close the entire time. Pink’s persistence and focus continue to win them close ballgames. One scrambled play let Mark loose in the corner for a 3-point dagger that mostly sealed the game. Flashes from Blue, but there’s not much time left to get over the hump. Then again, they only need to figure it out for 3 games, assuming they make the playoffs. Can this team full of talented guys play their A-Ball for 120 minutes? Probably not. But not impossible.
Game 4: - Team Purple
vs. Team Yellow
-Yellow is officially in off-season mode and Purple took advantage feeding their first-rounder for a league-high 49 points. That only tied the record for most points in a game and fell short of the super secret record we don’t talk about. Yellow has been Free Parking for several weeks now.
