2022-2023: Week 6 Player Reports

Game 1: Team Orange vs. Team Black

-In a battle of the turd teams, Black got flushed first. Last year, I was brutally wrong about Team Red and they were much better than I expected. This year, I was brutally wrong about Team Black and they are much worse than I expected. Ed scored a bunch of points, yet again, and it made almost no difference. Their supporting cast continues to be a waste of space. Team Orange played marginally better, but still tried to leave the door open. Orange eventually secured the win and grabbed their first victory of the season, but also squarely confirmed that these two teams are the most likely to miss the playoffs.

Game 2: Team Green vs. Team White

-Team green continued their slide into the dirt with a pathetic loss against Team White. Green suddenly looks like one of the worst offensive teams in the league and is the proud owner of a three-game losing streak. Team White continues to take care of business in a strange start to their season. I’m not sure what we really know about their team yet, other than that they are now 3-1.

Game 3: - Team Yellow vs. Team Pink

-What could have been a hard-fought grindhouse turned into a runaway as the onslaught of Team Pink was too much for Team Yellow. I don’t think Yellow is garbage, quite yet, but they are a long way away from Pink and Blue. Pink shouldn’t look too far ahead on the schedule, even though they are chomping at the bit for their rematch with Team Blue on March 6^th. It will be interesting to see how far they can push the undefeated streak.
