2022-2023: Week 12 Player Reports
Game 1: Team Orange
vs. Team Yellow
-Orange continues to show some backbone in the second half of the season, but continue to have no way to actually win games. This was the best combined effort we’ve seen out of the Finnin/Jones combo, but it’s telling that they got it done against Team Orange. Team Yellow is still very much in the race for 2nd seed and the coveted first round BYE. Lots to play for in Week 14 when they face off.
Game 2: Team Green
vs. Team Purple
-Good lord. I don’t know what else to say. It’s true Purple lost their captain for the season, but that doesn’t mean they never have to play defense again. They decided to give up 126 points to Team Green and 49 to Chris (both HatchetBall records). Purple seems desperate to miss the playoffs. Good lord.
Game 3: - Team Pink
vs. Team White
-In what could have been a fun showdown, Rob missed this game and it was a dud. Team White has serious offensive issues at times and could only muster 37 points in this one. So, we set the record for most points in a game and least points in a game in the same week. Wonderful. Green almost outscored White by 100 points.
