2021-2022: Week 4 Player Reports
Game 1: Team Blue vs.
Team Black
-Team Blue only mustered 5 guys for this one and were missing 3 starters, so the outcome was basically pre-determined. Team Black continues to win the games they are supposed to, but their upside still seems murky. They have been very balanced thus far, with 6 players averaging over 8 points per game. They finally get a BYE and will play Team Orange in Week 6, but they have to feel good about where they stand with a third of their regular season schedule behind them. Team Blue shouldn’t think too much about their first loss of the season. They have a chance to re-cement themselves as the team to beat in Week 5 against the uneven Team Yellow.
Game 2: Team Red vs.
Team Green
-Team Red didn’t play their best, but they didn’t need to against the struggling Team Green. They had enough scoring to simply outlast Rob’s offensively-challenged squad. It’s still hard to believe Rob’s team would be by bar the worst scoring team in the league. Perhaps things will change. They certainly can’t get any worse. Rob’s first four picks (including himself) haven’t worked out so far. They need Ralph to show up and be a difference maker. Week 5 will be a big test (and opportunity for Team Green) against Team Purple. If they score only around 50 points again, they almost certainly will fall to 0-4. Team Red cruises into their second BYE at 2-1.
Game 3: - Team Yellow
vs. Team White
-This one was projected to be a close one and turned into a slaughter. Team Yellow was missing what has turned out to be their only other scorer, and despite the herculean efforts of the red-hot Aderman, they still almost lost by 30. So far, we’ve seen two very different versions of Team White. It will be an interesting matchup for them in Week 5 against Team Orange.
