2021-2022: Week 16 Player Reports
Game 1: Team Green
vs. Team Blue
-Rounding out a painful season, Team Green was undermanned and fell easily to Team Blue. Rob will have a fresh start next season and we’ll see if he approaches the draft differently next year. Team Blue is riding high and has positioned themselves as the team to beat. Being the favorite and winning the title aren’t the same thing. We’ll see what happens.
Game 2: Team Red vs.
Team Purple
-Team Purple avoided emergency mode by taking care of two very winnable games to close out their season. Securing the 3rd overall seed may pay playoff dividends as their path to a title shot would run through Black and then White to get there. Team Red continues to slide since their roster shakeup. I regret nothing. Orange vs Red in the first round of the playoffs was foretold in the scrolls of yesteryear.
Game 3: - Team Yellow
vs. Team White
-By focusing up and playing a full game, Team Yellow were able to close out their season on a high note, avoiding last place and giving Team White a reality check. There are better days ahead for some of the Team Yellow faithful. Team White comes into the playoffs with an unexpected BYE, which is a great luxury for a team that was up and down for long stretches this season. Jerry, Justin, and Company roll into the playoffs with just 80 minutes of winning basketball separating Coach Hahn from a three-peat. We can’t let it happen.
