2021-2022: Week 13 Player Reports
Game 1: Team Orange
vs. Team Purple
-Finally utilizing some good timing, in the sense that they caught a team going through a rough patch, Team Orange showed up with their whole team and took care of business in a must win. They now control their own destiny, for the most part. A win against Team Green would put them as major favorites to make the playoffs, even if it doesn’t guarantee anything. Team Purple has now lost 3 in a row and seem to be sputtering towards the playoffs. They’ll likely still get in, but they are no longer the dangerous team we thought they were. There’s no one coming to save their squad; they’ll have to save themselves.
Game 2: Team Green
vs. Team White
-Running basically an inverse season to Team Purple, Team White has put together a 3 game winning streak and completely turned their season around. Sitting at 6-4, they have a clear path to a first-round BYE. They just have to beat Team Red in Week 15. On the flip side, Team Green has run out of options. They have to win their final 2 games are almost certainly will miss the playoffs. Major showdown against Team Orange in Week 14.
Game 3: - Team Blue
vs. Team Black
-In another blah effort, Team Black got shellacked in this one, never making a serious threat to win the game. Team Blue continues to force teams to play disciplined basketball. If you’re not playing help side defense and rotating, they’re going to punish you. If you’re taking bad shots on offense, they’re going to punish you. Team Blue closes up the season against Yellow and Green, the two teams at the bottom of the standings. These will be desperate opponents that they should be ready for.
