2021-2022: Week 11 Player Reports
Game 1: Team Blue vs.
Team Red
-I didn’t see any of these games, so I’m lacking details, but Team Red continues to impress with a hard-fought victory over Team Blue and takes over 1st Place in the standings. They had an unexpected player swap, which could be dangerous this late in the season, but their play apparently didn’t dip at all. They now stand a full game ahead of Blue and Purple in the loss column. Team Garmes is looking strong.
Game 2: Team Green
vs. Team Black
-In a throwaway game, Team Black took advantage of Team Green’s inability to field a team and won in a laugher. This loss could be significant for Team Green down the stretch. At a minimum, they need to split their final four games and even that might not be enough to get in to the playoffs. Team Black should be safe at this point. Even if they drop their final three games, it’s hard to see a team with 5 wins not making the playoffs.
Game 3: - Team Purple
vs. Team White
-With Team Blue’s loss, Purple had an opportunity to surge to the top of the standings and give themselves pole position for a playoff BYE. Instead, they lost what was a pretty close game and currently stand at 3rd overall. With their sometimes lackluster effort, Purple might need the BYE more than Red or Blue. They have a favorable strength of schedule remaining and they should look to take advantage of it. If they don’t, we’ll be seeing them on wildcard weekend when anything can happen.
