2019-2020: Week 9 Player Reports

Game 1: Team Blue (Matt Koll) vs. Team Gold (Bob Kelly)

-Taking advantage of an under-manned Team Gold, Team Blue ran its record to 5-3 on the year in this stinkfest.

Game 2: Team Black (Matt V) vs. Team White (Freddy)

-In the Race War (Black vs White), Team White punished the directionless Team Black in another ugly one. Steigerwald finally stepped up, securing over 20 points for the first time since Week 1. Team Black is on life support until their replacement for Rob checks in.

Game 3: - Team Green (Troy) vs. Team Orange (Jerry)

-In a Clash of the Titans, Team Orange skated by the Luke-Less team Green with ease. While an idiot might discern that Luke’s contribution was the lone difference between the first and second meeting of these title contenders, the truth is that the different outcomes was solely predicated on the performance of the rookie Declan, who scored 34 when his team beat Orange and just 14 when they lost to Orange in Week 9. Team Orange was certainly more prepared for Declan this time around and will be again if/when they meet in the playoffs. So, don’t tell me that they can win the rubber match between these squads just because they have Luke available to chuck up 15 airballs. Team Orange coasts into first place.
