Game 1: Team Red (Steve)
vs. Team Green (Troy)
-Minus Big Dick Schick, Team Green was vulnerable in this one. However, Team Red kept up their inconsistency and simply refuse to move out of the basement of the league. They enter their second BYE week with a turd record and no protection from missing the playoffs.
Game 2: Team Blue (Matt
Koll) vs. Team White (Freddy)
-With all these shitty teams continuing to lose games, it was expected than an undeserving team was going to mop up some wins. With Gold, White, and Red locked in a furious race to the bottom of the toilet, Team Blue has cemented itself as the 3rd best team in HatchetBall. Heading into Week 9, they hold a 4-3 record, which is certainly better than expected for this team of dildos.
Game 3: - Team Gold (Kelly)
vs. Team Orange (Jerry)
-By the numbers, Team Orange has the best offense in HatchetBall. Lead by league leader in scoring, Mark, and 3 other scorers in double-digits per game, they are the only team scoring over 70+ per game. When things are clicking, they can simply outscore the less talented teams. Team Gold has capable pieces but has looked clunky on offense all season. They didn’t even play poorly, but Orange still trounced them. That’s a bad sign.
