2018-2019: Week 9 Player Reports

Game 1: Team Jimmy Konrath (Green) vs. Team Garmes (Orange)

-In a snoozer, Team Green showed that their flash in the pan victory in Week 7 was likely misleading.  Everything clicked in that game to the same degree that nothing has clicked in any other game for them.  Team Garmes gets to 7-0 easily.

Game 2: Team Beave (Light Blue) vs. Team Kenny Konrath (Blue)

-In a nasty battle, Team Light Blue held off the pesky Lucaducs.  This win is a great sign for Team Light Blue, who is still in position to secure the second first-round playoff BYE.  Their team is not built to run and gun, but the Playoffs are a grind, and this win shows they are capable of winning the dirty, balls-in-your-face survival contests.

Game 3: - Team Vito (Dark Blue) vs. Team Brennan (Red)

-Not much to say about this game.  I’m not sure which was more impressive, the incredible stats or the blatant refusal to play defense on either side.  En route to a disgusting 103-88 shitshow, several players took advantage for career nights.  But none outshone Steve Dudek, who posted a ridiculous 15-14-14 stat line on his way to his first ever triple-double.  But who cares?  His team also gave up 103 points and lost the game easily.  Not that he cares.  Steve would burn the world to be king of the ashes.  The Pat Ashes.
