2016-2017: Week 7 Player Reports

9:00 - Team Garmes (Blue) vs. Team Beave (Grey)

-Team Blue continues to pounce through the schedule, easily handling the flimsy Team Grey. Grey looked sharp in the beginning of this one, sharing the ball and using some early hot shooting to jump out to a double-digit lead, but it all evaporated once they remembered you have the choice to shoot threes from half court if you really want to. Mark poured in 34 while Matt Koll (7,10,7) and Luke (10,13,7) offered key support. Steve continues to struggle scoring against players who are wise to his floppy, shitty tricks.

10:00 - Team Brennan (Red) vs. Team Bo (Yellow)

-Steigerwald played perhaps his most balanced game of the season, tallying 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists in the win over Team Red. Yellow has eked its way back to a 2-3 record. There’s no way this team misses the playoffs with so many other bottom-feeders out there, but they clearly are not the veteran contender we thought they might become.

11:00 - Team Matt V (Green) vs. Team Orange (Vito)

-Orange was missing two of its best three players in this matchup, further evidence of the charmed schedule Team Green has enjoyed, but this game was still a close one. Green pulled away in the end with their nice mix of scoring and shared playmaking.
