2016-2017: Week 3 Player Reports
-Tierney's turds did not show up again, but during the postgame conference, there were talks that some roster changes were in the works. Stay tuned for developments on that. Matt V's team moved to 2-0 based on some balanced team scoring. Team Green seems to move the ball better than most, which leads to open shots for everyone, including ole' saggy tits himself, Matt V, who rained in four 3-Pointers in this contest. Green won this one easily.
-Team Red seemed doomed from the start. It was a poor draft and far too many unknowns to succeed in HatchetBall. Things took a turn for the worse in this one, as Daniher aggravated his knee injury and ended his season, if not his entire HatchetBall career. Team Blue was steady, finding Mark for easy baskets time and time again, allowing him a season-high 37 points. Matt Koll threatened for his first triple-double with 9, 10, 8, but he'll likely need a closer game to justify the extra points and assists he needed. Luke chipped in 9, 9, and 5 assists of his own in the easy win.
-Team Bo has been the early disappointment of the young HatchetBall season. Bo seemed to have assembled a capable, veteran crew that would be competitive. Instead, they've looked like a punchless bunch of old shit stains. After falling in Week 1 without their top pick, Light Blue has picked up consecutive victories headed into their first BYE week. Granted, the teams they've beaten are both winless, but getting into the playoffs is the first and only goal for every team. Starting the season 2-1 is a great way to put yourself in position.
