Week Six Player Reports

Mark Koll: It was nothing but good news for Mark in Week Six.  He played well in a high-scoring win, his team picked up a much-needed victory that will basically assure them a spot in the playoffs, and Team Orange picked up a new player that should help some.  There's nothing here to suggest that things have changed radically since a their crushing loss in Week Five, but there's still a lot of season left.  Currently sitting at 2-3, Orange has a realistic chance to end the season somewhere around 7-5, which should be a great result considering the difficulties they've faced.

What's Next: Mark will try to continue his torrid scoring pace against the rough and tumble Team Yellow in Week Eight after a BYE.

Matt Koll: Ever since his epic fantasy sports meltdown, Matt has played well for Team Orange.  He had his best statistical game of the season in Week Six, following up on a Player of the Week performance in Week Five.  Matt finished with 12 points, 17 rebounds, and 8 assists in his team's easy win over Team Red.

What's Next: Matt and Luke will go on a romantic vacation together.

Dave Troy:  Where the hell did this come from?  Either teams had VASTLY undervalued Troy in the past, or he has simply found a perfect fit for his talents this season.  Troy is blowing his career scoring numbers out of the water, leading the Most Improved Player of the Year award category by a healthy margin.  Even better, his team now sits with a share of 2nd Place, at 3-1.  These are good times in the Troy household, I'm sure of it.

What's Next: Troy and Team Yellow will look to keep the good times rolling in Week Seven against the inconsistent Team Grey.

Mike Davis: Following through on his usual brand of up and down scoring weeks, Davis put in just 8 points in his team's Week Six victory.  Team Yellow should have three difficult games in a row, with Grey, Orange, and Dark Blue coming in the next month or so.  Let's see if Mike's up for it.

Eric Mittermann: Congratulations on your first HatchetBall win!  We're all looking forward to Team Green's epic showdown with Team Red in Week Eight.  It should be a real pile of manure.

What's Next: Team Green will look to follow up its surprising Week Six win with another one against 1st Place Team Dark Blue in Week Seven.  Good luck.
