Matt Vitaliano: Old steady bones played
about as well as you can expect from a gout-riddled corpse. He threw in four 3-pointers and somehow
managed 5 rebounds and a blocked shot.
More importantly, Matt V's team yet again stands on the mountaintop,
looking down with a perfect 3-0 record to start the season.
What's Next: Team
Dark Blue should cruise to an easy one against Team Garmes
in Week Five.

Rob Knapczyk: While he didn't exactly
play a complete game, Rob did lead the way for Team Dark Blue in an impressive
win over Team Beave.
I figured Rob would have his way against the girth-laden, but slow Team
Grey. Rob did used
his twisty tricks to get to the bucket for a big scoring splurge in the first
half and his team never looked back. Rob
finished with 28 points and 7 rebounds.
What's Next: Rob
and company get a BYE in Week Five against Team Red.

Luke A: Luke tried to get
himself more involved in the action during Team Dark Blue's Week Four victory,
but it seems clear that when they are at full strength, this roster just
doesn't need Luke to score or do much besides stand near the basket and wear the
right color uniform. He finished with 6
points and 11 rebounds and went generally unnoticed in the court. Luke is averaging 4.5 ppg
with Rob in the lineup.
What's Next: Luke will get selfish and sabotage Team Matt V, becoming an infamous HatchetBall villain.

Mike Steigerwald: Struggling a bit with
his shot this season, perhaps due to some extra attention from defenses, Mike
continues to put up strong all-around games.
He finished with just 21 points in the Week Four win, but his season
averages of 13 rpb and 5 apg
put him in the early running for MVP, as he's led Team Blue to a 2-1 record.
What's Next: A clash of the titans in Week Five: Kolls vs. Steigs and Baby Vito.

Steve Dudek: No one is surprised Steve came back down to earth in Week Four, mustering just 6 points, but he should be commended for remaining active and contributing a great all-around game, finishing with 6 boards, 5 assists, and 1 blocked shot. Steve is making a push for most-improved player in his sophomore campaign.
What's Next: Steve
will get frustrated and get into a fight with a teammate. The teammate will embarrass him by knocking
him out cold with a single, lazy punch.

Mike Davis: Mike was solid in Week Four, grabbing a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Team Yellow remains the biggest question mark. There are times that they look utterly inept on offense. But they have the size and athleticism to keep up with anything. It's just hard to imagine where the points are going to come from against the better teams in crunch time.
What's Next: Mike's New Year's Resolution is to become a heavy
drinker.

Paul Hobe: Paul was back in the mix in Week Four, managing 8
points. Look for Paul to put up some
bigger numbers as his team runs down the bottom feeders in the next few weeks.
What's Next: Paul will record a double-double in Week Five
against Team Red. Gauntlet dropped.

Mark Vitaliano: Mark backed up a strong
Week Three and a Player of the Week award with another 20+ point performance in
the Week Four win. Mark is one of the
few players in HatchetBall who can operate on the
baseline and can finish at the rim, which makes him a nice compliment to the
outside attack of Steigerwald. With all the defensive pressure spread thin
by Steigerwald's constant threat, Mark should
continue to produce big numbers in the paint.
What's Next: Mark
will take a long bath and shave his legs before a big matchup
against Team Orange in Week Five.

Eric Mittermann: Three games in, it
appears that Eric drew the shortest stick in his rookie season. His team looks downright atrocious. They've had a tough time keeping games close
and there appears to be very little cohesion.
Getting drafted by Bo is no walk in the park; it's something this humble
reporter knows very well after last season.
What's Next: Eric
gets a BYE in Week Five to lick his wounds.
