Matt Vitaliano: Matt V put
up his usual
stat line with a boring 9 point, 3 rebound performance...

Rob Knapczyk: Rob has
definitely settled
into a leadership role on Team Orange.
While their victory over Team Grey was mostly uneventful, there
were a
few moments where you could see
What's Next: Rob
will look to keep up his winning ways in Week Eight against Beaver's
Boys.

Luke A: Feasting against an overmatched Team Yellow, Luke
broke out
for 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
His 4 three pointers were a career high.
Word on the HatchetBall rumor mill
is that
Luke visited a mystical healer on the cruise and asked the magic man to
fix his
broke-ass jumpshot.
Turns out the healer was a male
prostitute.
What's Next: Luke will have to play even better if Red is going to keep up with Team Orange in Week Eight.

Mike Steigerwald: Mike
continues to
outclass the rest of HatchetBall with his
high
scoring. He's the only player in HatchetBall averaging over 30 ppg
and he shows no signs of slowing.
However, he might face his stiffest test yet against Team
Orange, who
has multiple wing defenders that can chase him around and Matt V always
has a Stiffy in a gym full of sweaty guys.
What's Next: Mike
will try to avoid Matt V's Stiffy in Week Eight.

Steve Dudek: In an almost
Hollywood-type
scenario, Steve came straight from the airport to play his Week Seven HatchetBall game.
Even better, Steve played one of his best games so far, dropping
18
points. Still, most of his teammates
admit that they prefer he stay in

Mike Davis: After another whopping 17 rebounds, Mike became the first HatchetBaller to top 100 rebounds this season. Mike is on pace to finish with 216 rebounds this season, which would demolish the current record of 147. Sweet Jesus, that's a lotta boards.
What's Next: Mike
will focus on actually winning a game, as it's starting to look
possible that
he will break the rebound record and miss the playoffs.

Paul Hobe: Finishing with 4 points, 9 rebounds, and 2
assists, Paul
helped his team overcome a feisty Light Blue squad and secure their
third
victory. Dark Green is lumped together
at 3-2 with half of the league. It's
going to be a great stretch run and Paul and company will likely be
vying for a
top spot if they continue to play this well.
What's Next: Dark Green gets an
opportunity to prove themselves
against another 3-2 squad: Team Dark Blue.

Mark Vitaliano: Mark has
been very
inconsistent in his return season to HatchetBall. His team's record currently sits at 2-4. In Week Seven, he struggled offensively and
his team struggled along with him. He
finished with just 10 points and 1 assist in the loss.
What's Next: Light
Blue gets a much needed week off before returning to action in Week
Nine
against Team Light Green. That game
should top out in the high 30's.
